Jesus Christ
God said to the Serpent:
Gen.3:15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers. He will crush your head and you will strike His heel.
Rom.16:20 The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The Grace of our Lord Jesus be with you. 1John 3:8 He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work.
Gen.12:2-3 I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you. Acts 3:25 And you are heirs of the prophets and of the covenant God made with your fathers. He said to Abraham, 'through your offspring all peoples on earth will be blessed.'
Gen.22:15-18 The Angel of the Lord called to Abraham from heaven a second time and said, "I swear by Myself, declares the Lord, that because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son, I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore. Your decendants will take possession of the cities of their enemies, and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me. Heb.11:17-19 By faith Abraham, when God tested him, offered Isaac as a sacrifice. He who had received the promises was about to sacrifice his one and only son, even though God had said to him, "It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned. " Abraham reasoned that God could raise the dead, and figuratively speaking, he did receive Isaac back from death.
Micah 5:2 But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for Me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times. Matt.2:1-6 After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, "Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw His star in the east and have come to worship Him." When King Herod heard this he was disturbed, and all Jerusalem with him. When he had called together all the people's chief priests and teacher of the Law, he asked them where the Christ was to be born. "In Bethlehem in Judea," they replied, "for this is what the prophet has written: "But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for out of you will come a Ruler who will be the Shepherd of My people Israel."
Zech.9:9 Rejoice greatly, O Daughter of Zion! Shout, Daughter of Jerusalem! See, your King comes to you, righteous and having salvation, gently and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey. Luke 19:30-37 "Go to the village ahead of you, and as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, which no one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it here. If anyone asks you, 'Why are you untying it?' Tell him, 'The Lord needs it.' " Those who were sent ahead went and found it just as He had told them. As they were untying the colt, its owners asked them, "Why are you untying the colt?" They replied, "The Lord needs it." They brought it to Jesus, threw their cloaks on the colt and put Jesus on it. As He went along, people spread their cloaks on the road. When He came near the place where the road goes down the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to priase God in loud voices for all the miracles that they had seen. "Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!
