Jesus Christ in Death
13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
14 In whomwe have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
Isaiah 45:
21 Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the Lord?and there is no God else beside me;a just God and a Saviour;there is none beside me.
22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God,and there is none else.
Philippians 2:
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and becameobedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Hebrews 2:
14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same;that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death,that is, the devil;
1 Peter 3:
18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God,being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
Matthew 27:
41 Likewise also the chief priests mocking him, with the scribes and elders, said,
42 He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him nowcome down from the cross, and we will believe him.
43 He trusted in God;let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God.

50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.
1 Peter 1:
19 But with the precious blood of Christ,as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
1 Peter 2:
21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us,leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:
1 John 3:
16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us:and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
NOTE:
How could God express His love for us in any greater way? What more could Christ do than He has already done? God the Father and Christ the Son have done all they could, so now it is up to each one of us to accept what they have done, to choose Christ as our Savior.
