New Paths

Taking New Paths that the Lord directs you onto can be a scary thing. When God drove the Children of Israel out of Egypt they were forced to take a new path. They had been living in Egypt for 400 years, had everything they needed and were totally settled in. God told them He had a Land to give them flowing with milk and wild honey. He wanted to bless them with this land. They had to follow Him to receive it. They went through a real desert before they were ready to receive this New Land. When we step out into a new Life in Christ, we have to step out in Faith. He will be there but some of the "guard rails" He had in place for us where we were in our old life will/may be taken away. He will still be there for us. Will you step out in Faith on a new adventure when He calls you to do so? Let us pray that we will be ready to accept whatever He calls us to do. Let us pray, "Lord I believe, remove my unbelief"...
